PIETERNELLE⁴ MIEDEMA (JELTJE³ FOLKERTSMA, TETJE DIRKS² BRUINSMA, GRIETJE AUKES¹ TOLSMA), the daughter of JELTJE FOLKERTSMA and TJEERD MIEDEMA,  was born July 31, 1884 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and died December 18, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She married JOHN BEREND PETERSON June 06, 1906 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of BEREND PIETERSEN and CORNELIA WERKOFF. He was born September 25, 1882 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and died December 02, 1957 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
