Feminist genealogy of Lenore Vanden Bout

As a woman and a mother, I feel a special bond with the women in my own family story, particularly as I record the names, births, and deaths of all their many babies.  Rather than tracing the family name from father, to father, I've included here several family pages of my Foremothers.  These pages are presented as a kind of "feminist genealogy,"  beginning with my mother, and continuing through her mother (Nell Miedema), and her mother (Jeltje Folkertsma), etc., back to the earliest direct foremother I have been able to identify (Grietje Tolsma).

 Dates for all living persons included here are stipulated as private.
